We've had 20-30 mile winds all day with snow majority of the day. There's not too much accumulation on the ground because it just kept right on blowing all day. It was really nippy too!!! Hmmm, forum just tried to kick me out - I must have been doing something wrong, seems to be working now though. Mad, were the 8 loads of wash in your teensy washing machine? Is that the one you are still using?

Kaci, we were having heat problems same nights but much colder where you are! SOrry about the blower. We need a new furnace but we are putting it off and limping along with the old one. Had AC put in this house a couple years ago and had them go ahead and put a heat pump with it in case the furnace croaked... but now it turns out the heat pump won't work without 1000$ more work done on it. rrrrrrr. We bought this house from friends at peak price, and it's a good solid house but have had to put in AC, a fence, a new roof, repaint trim and reglaze windows, need new furnace and need new sewer line, and the electric pops a breaker every time we try to plug anything new in... ah well, such is life, it's still better than our old house and neighborhood (but that one was CHEAP!)

Dy, Ian just got home, he is very sick again..ugg! he looks terrible, very swollen like he is going to blow up, he looks like a heartattack about to happen. if he lives, and still sick, he wont go to florida..I know u'all will think this is a bit callous, it isn't, I am worried about him, but I just can't get any sicker either. Ian just doesn't care for himself.......oh god

Somebody - I need to get a new furnace too. Mine's 30's yrs old and so far this winter I've had to put over $650 into it. New Gas regulator and recently blower motor. I'm limping it along, until I can save up for a new one. My nephew and his soon to be father in-law both work for heating/cooling companies, so they are keeping an eye for me on either a good used one or when they have sales on them. They both get discounts as well through their companies, so it will save me quite a bit. Had new roof, siding and windows put in a couple of years after I bought my house, so I'm good in that area.
