Frye Hearing denied by JP requested by BaezIt's a hearing to decide whether an expert can be heard at trial and its done before hand. The judge decides if the expert can testify and they base their reasoning on whether the testimony is commonly accepted in the scientific community. If its novel or controversial, it is the party who wants the expert to testify's burden to bring in multiple experts that can state that the information has generally accepted scientific reliability based on genuine scientific principles and tests.

Been watching Haraldo, and getting miffed...lawyers r saying that there will be a re-trial because at Universal when the cops were questioning Casey, they by law should have given her miranda rights. I don't know if this is going to take with the trial because this is just a talk show.....I guess we shall see.

Hot one yesterday! My face is sunburned from driving facing the sun on the way home! Monte has long ago not had ac and it was a tough drive for both of us. He didn't overheat, but I did. When I got into my house, I started to have chills and was so weak, I then realized that I had overheated. Took a tepid shower and cooled down my system, hydrated myself and just relaxed the rest of the evening. Other than my face being sunburned, I'm fine this morning. Not going to church, though, we are having services outside with a picnic following - too hot and muggy for me to do it two days in a row!

Dave and Dale: Hope you both had very wonderful birthdays! ...and I wish you many more!
