The Memorial For Caylee
This is a transcript of the statement from Casey Anthony delivered by her lawyer, Jose Baez, on Monday afternoon, Feb. 9, regarding her daughter's memorial service.

"I miss Caylee every day and every minute of every day. I can't be there for Caylee's funeral, but some day I want to go and visit her grave and tell her how much I miss her."

"I allowed my parents to be in charge for the funeral for Caylee. I told them I wanted her buried in a casket and I wanted there to be a gravestone so I could go and visit her. I asked them if there could only be a private funeral for just the family."

"I know they cremated her. I still don't want a public event with cameras and everybody around for Caylee's service, but I can't stop my parents from doing what they want. I truly hope that it will help them."

Caylee Marie Anthony has captivated the hearts of so many people over the course of the last several months. Many feel a great loss for a beautiful child that they never had the opportunity to meet. They quickly fell in love with her beauty and her charming ways, as she read a story to her ailing great grandfather, whom she loved very much. For those who fell in love with Caylee Marie on national TV, their grief is only temporary, their hearts will soon mend, and their memory of her may eventually fade. But for those who actually had the honor to meet Caylee Marie, it will be much more difficult for them to say good bye, and their hearts may never heal.

On August 9th 2005, God blessed this earth with one of his most beautiful children. Caylee Marie was born at 7:14am in an Orlando hospital. From the moment that she was born she forever stole the hearts of her family. Caylee was not only a beautiful baby, but she had a beautiful spirit that will live on in those that truly knew her and loved her. She is survived by her mother Casey Marie Anthony, her grandparents George and Cindy Anthony, her uncle Lee Anthony, and her great grandparents Alex and Shirley Plesea and Ruth and Lee Anthony.

Caylee’s life will be honored in a memorial service open to the public on February 10th 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Orlando beginning at 10am. The family is requesting that those with only the purest of hearts and truly honorable intentions attend the service for their beloved child. This service will be a tribute to her life and a time for her family and friends to finally be together to openly express and share their love for her. The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1900 Conway Gardens Rd, Orlando Fl., the Orlando Rescue Mission or Kid Finders Network.

Because of Caylee so many other children have been the recipient of the kindness and generosity from those who have donated on her behalf. Donations have been made to numerous organizations such as Toys for Tots, The Shriners, St. Jude’s Hospital, The Make a Wish Foundation, The Boys and Girls Club of America, The Orlando Rescue Mission, and Kid Finders Network. Another child will receive a new smile after receiving multiple reconstructive surgeries to repair a cleft palate. Because of this outpouring of compassion the family will continue to honor Caylee’s memory by establishing the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. The Foundation’s purpose will be to continue to generate awareness for missing children; and to establish programs to assist in the well being of those children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.

Caylee’s life may have been short lived on this earth but her life will not have ended without a purpose. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Caylee Marie Anthony now has her angel wings and will be watching over so many other children.

Dy couldn't get balloon before work because they only last a short time, so I am getting 2 balloons, one from me, and one from Dy. I hope the skys will be full of balloons for our little angel.

I I got permission from my boss to go get my 3 balloons tomorrow morning and then at 10am let them go here in the back yard at work. Boss said yes as long as I pick up some food shopping items for house. So that's cool the helium will be nice and full.

Hi Dy, Daley and Nana - Thread was not letting me post, even after shutting everything down and rebooting. It did some spyware uploads on Aol and haven't been able to post since. Kept giving me an internext explorer error and to resend to site or cancel. Trying this again.

Still having issues with my comp settings and it blocked me from posting again earlier. It started after the spyware update from Aol. Uggggg!!!! If I can't figure it out, I'll have one of my comp wizard buds at work look at it. We have two IT people there that are excellent with them.

I guess KC's memorial was when she put the heart on the duct tape across her mouth....I hope she rots in hell....Mad was upset about not being able to release a balloon so I told him me and him would release one each when he got out of the hospital....I hope Caylee will understand.

NG IS UPSET WITH LP FOR HAVING HIS OWN MEMORIAL, LP SAYS HE HOPES TO KEEP PROTESTERSW AWAY FROM THE CHURCH, AND FOR OTHERS THAT WERE BAND. NG FEELS HE IS UPSTAGING CINDY..HE DENIES THAT.

NG does not like the idea of LP having a memorial at the same time...he says it's not really a memorial, it's a place for folks that want to grieve and cause problems to go over there...
AWWWW, how sad, the defense atty Richard on NG show is fighting leukemia.
BTW, I have wanted to ask of any of you donate blood and also ever consider donate your bone marrow? Just wondering...
