Re: friends who care
Favorite Contenter scratched due to soreness in ankle. Thank goodness they pulled don't want another accident. Now that horse Fresian Fire that is now the favorite is owned by the same and the guy Larry Jones that won and owned Eight Belles who had that terrible accident. That incident was horrific.

Re: friends who care
I know, I loved "I want revenge", but it is wide open, and it is better to be safe than sorry! Ali, love that Dan folgerberg song, and the video is beautiful!! Wish we all could be together today for the race. I grew up with everyone getting together for this race. Mom always had a big party, we made bets, pulled money in bowel, drew names, and the ladies all wore beautiful hats....part of my youth!!!

Ok, I have made up my mind....."General Quarter" is my fave, owner Jim McCarthy whom I have great respect for, and he has a great jockey in Julien Leparou.
Second but so close is "Mr. Hotstuff": jockey ( my fave jockey) is John Velazques

De, made Dude my signiture, so I will make sure u see him...he is an amazing cat. he plays with anything u give him, and he literally comes when he is called. he loves to cuttle, so when I take naps, he just curls around my arm and sleeps with me. At nite, Maggie and Sassy take over, but they all get their attention..now the dogs demand most of attention, they will watch the race with me today! they probably will want to herd those big horses, we'll see!

Re: friends who care
Hi All,
Yesterday took a toll on me and a bit too much disruption in my normal daily routine (furnace crud and problem found doing it). The only routine part was accidentally setting my alarm clock when it didn't need to be set. Friggin thing went off at 6:00 am and woke me out of a sound sleep. That was the only part of my normal routine yesterday and did it out of habit..
My pick for the Derby is Hold Me Back... Hope everyone has a great day!! Need to do some running around today, but will be back later on.
Daley - Beautiful picture of you and your Mom!!
Lov ya all...

Just read that Fresian Fire likes a wet and sloppy track which his likings will be imminent at the Derby today. Cool weather too. Coolers are permitted for the first time since 911 all the wimps will be able to stay away from their shivers. But I am still betting on Kaci's and my favorite, "Hold Me Back"

Hey Sis, ya doing alright today? I used to install heating systems and know they can be very disrupting, especially a hot water system.Kaci wrote:dave wrote:Ribbon wrote:Dunkirk is a favorite 4-1 and a gray so we'll see how the statistics rate now.

Hi Bro - Hope you, Ali and Michele are doing well today. Really like new furnace and central air conditioner is a monster.. When the installers Son picked them up yesterday morning they gave his son different model than what they ordered (much better one). 14 Seer instead of 13 Seer (what ever that means). They didn't charge the difference in price between the two. Ran into a little problem with cold air returns, but nothting that can't be resolved. Good to see ya Bro..
