He said Wednesday that he saw three of the children running with horrified looks on their faces. He said when he saw those kid's faces, he knew someone had been shot.
The radio station sales manager from Lasalle, Ill., said the top priority then was finding an emergency exit from the museum.
Police say at least two people were shot at the museum in Washington, D.C. Police spokeswoman Traci Hughes said a person walked into the museum at about 1 p.m. with a rifle and shot a guard. Hughes says the shooter was also shot.
