Caylee, sweetheart, I thank God for you and I am so sorry that your life was so short! You have touched so many people and brought thousands of friends together. Today, we mourn you all over again because of the great injustice brought forth! I am thankful to know in my heart and soul that you are with Jesus! I am thankful that you are no longer at the mercy of any of your earth family! I pray that God will cleanse my heart of the anger that I have and help me to move forward, help us all to move forward. I pray that God will forgive your earth family before they meet Him face to face - and I pray that He will give us all peace. I can't deny that I am angry, shocked, disappointed and heart broken at this moment! I love you, Caylee!

Lots of pent up tears are yet to come for this precious little child. Innocent, Angelic, and Murdered at the hand of her own mother - how can this be?

Oh Linda, Dy and I were together when we heard the news...tears came to my eyes, but basically we were in shock! There has been no justice for Caylee!!
NOT GUILTY, then who killed Caylee? no answers...I am discusted, and when the jurors go home they will hear all that we have heard, and when they realized that they were wrong, will they be able to live with their decision.
I don't think Casey will go back home, she will have to hide the rest of her life, and like OJ, karma will come back to haunt her.
Listening to alternate juror on HLN, sounds nuts, he didn't believe anything the prosecution brought up. Didn't accept body in car, he thought George was willing to let daughter face deaqth penelty. whoever it was put tape on Caylee, he believed George buried Caylee....oh God what is wrong with those ppl.?

Dale, I agree. how will they sleep tonight and will be so shunned by society. My questions are if was not guilty, who was? Will this be a cold case or solved? The hardest part to swallow is she can NEVER be charged with this again! She can outright say she killed Caylee and never be charged with it. Double Jeopardy

Still in shock! After thinking some time about this, I now realize the jury did make up their mind long before the end of the trial. They DID NOT FOLLOW JUDGY'S INSTRUCTIONS!!! They did not write notes, 10 hrs is too short to go over the evidence, and with this verdict they got to go home last nite...not fair!!
The jurors r going to have a difficult time for the rest of their lives like OJ jurors.....again, casey has hurt 16 more ppl....now that she will be free, how many more ppl will she hurt, another boy friend, another baby, another death??? then will cheney mason realize how wrong he is? Defense dancing, drinking champagne, celebrating freeing an evil person who WILL kill again !! They make me sick!!!!!

am glad he took it seriously it does not matter who thought about it - I
am just happy, if something CAN be done, that someone DID, and now,
what do we do ? Wouldn't we need to speak with the Feds that were
involved ? or those responsible in FL ? rather than OUR state ? what
could our state do ? I am not quite understanding this. In the South, in
the 1960's, the Feds charged Jurors, Judges, etc., with violating the
black people that were discriminated against and put in Jail,
innocently. This would fall under an injustice done by Casey, to her
daughter, in not telling anyone that her daughter was missing.,,,Not
sure what else.

Leonard, I don't think she can be charged with violating her civil
rights in the event of Murder now. She might be able to get charged with
Violating Caylee's civil rights, by denying her child the Right to be
located when she was missing and Casey was responsible for her care. So,
the DA there, needs to bring these NEW charges, of Casey violating
Caylee's Civil Rights by not taking HER responsibility to get Law
Enforcement involved in Helping to Find her. Caylee's civil rights were
Violated by Casey not protecting them !

Well, without a doubt, Caylee's right to 'Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness' were violated. Each of us have those Constitutional Rights! I do believe that at the very least she neglected Caylee to the point that her life was in danger (and, indeed, lost) because of neglect.

After the verdict yesterday, I was in complete shock as the rest of you were. I didn't know how to feel other than completely pissed.. I received several phone calls from Mish, my Mom a Brother and two of my Sisters, as they have been following it lately as well. I was laying on the couch waching TV, but all I could think about was no justice was done for Caylee. I know what programs were on, but I have no idea what they were about. My mind just kept thinking of Caylee and the crummy jurors verdict.

I had to work a few hours overtime tonight, because it was so freaking busy at work today. I skimmed the prior posts, but have to go back in a while after I eat and check out the links posted.

Just a footnote; Will go to Dy's for the sentancing...the yurors got it wrong, Caasey will be in her own prison for the rest of her life!!

Hey guys, If anyone reads this, I don't now what to say right now except what everyone else does & feel...and I do not want to patronize anything to do with casey, her family & her attorney team...will continue to keep in touch but I can't take it anymore. It will take more than a day or two for us to be ok again. We are drained and we need our hope renewed. We must move on with our lives, but we can and will always remember Caylee. I will not spend one red cent to support any efforts of Casey or her dream team. In all honesty, I don't know who murdered this little girl, but she is safe now. No one has gotten away with anything - God sees it all and knows it all!
