Judge B. Perry has the patience of a saint! He is trying his best to get this trial to the end and to see that justice is served.
I think we have to assume that the jurors knew something about this case going in, although they may have stated that they did not. If not, they can clearly see how Cindy has told two different stories, can't they? They can clearly see that Casey has no emotion about her child, can't they? Can they not see that she wants to be The One and Only in her family ... and the world, can't they?
I fear that she may get off with abusive manslaughter of a child. There are many seeds of doubt, some of which may take root. I pray that the jury can reach a verdict and that this thing will be over soon. I am thankful for the break yesterday; life doesn't usually get to me, but this has been going on for three years and I find myself getting depressed. I have to force myself to interact with others (being here is an exception, I don't have face to face and that makes it easier - plus, all of you have been right there all along, experiencing the same things that I have). Withdrawing from others not associated with the case is not a good thing. I consider myself to be mentally healthy, but to be honest, this is wearing me down.
I will not go to HLN today, I will not search out stories and/or opinions of the case today. Although it is a rainy day, I will find something positive and productive to do after church.
Update on my brother in law: He had been scheduled for surgery to remove part of his diseased colon (diverticulosis) on the 8th of July. However, routine testing of his heart shows significant problems with his heart. He will undergo a cardiac cath this week to determine whether there is blockage and how much, with treatment/surgery for that before any other surgery can be done. I would appreciate your prayers for him and my sister, Alice. She is not well, and suffers heart disease, herself (she is a cancer survivor - if you want to call how she has to live 'surviving'). Ron is 74 yrs old and has been very active his entire life - he does not know how to slow down and take it easy. He is currently in the process of rebuilding two cars, both classics, that he plans to show. He already has two that he does show and has won many trophies with them. He is a very active person and my sister has her hands full trying to get him to slow down.

Lee is just putting on a show for the jurors. I want to see George get up on the stand and say that he found Caylee drown and helped cover it up. Oh, but wait.. That would have already come out long before watching his daughter get tried for 1st degree murder all this time. Not a chance in hell a father would let their own child go through something like this and not just stand up and say it was an accident.
