That was a huge jury pool too huh? What were they thinking? And supposedly this Tess searcher she was on the witness list.! According to Judge Perry, a Texas Equusearch volunteer whose name is on the witness list was called to jury duty Tuesday at the Pinellas County Courthouse, and talked to Tuesday's jury pool about the case.
How could a witness in an upcoming trial be called for jury duty? The judge said jurors are summoned based on their driver's license numbers, so there was no way they could have expected that to happen

It makes me sick that you have to appear for jury duty no matter how long it will last and not get paid for the time that you are there. You are required to be there and can be put in jail if you fail to show up (at least in my state). One juror said he would have to use his 6 weeks of vacation time accrued to be able to be a juror. If your required to be there without a darn good reason why you can't be, you sure as heck should not have to use your own vacation time in order to do so. Your bills sure as heck don't go away while your not being paid serving on a jury that is mandatory. It's just seems plain wrong to me. Just my opinion though.

OMG..a protential jurer talked to the press during lunch in order to get out of jury duty..Judge Perry found him guilty, and find him $450.00, he said next time he goes to jail..Judge set up a payment schedule. AND THE CAMERAS SHOWED HIM TOO, SO HE LOST HIS ANIMENITY. Judge Perry was pissed...
40 more jurers will be brought in this afternoon.

court still in session, but only on internet. Judge Perry is interview some more new ppl for jury selection. I believe he is determined to get the jury selection done this week before the actual trial.

casey led out of the courtroom,ashen,dizzy. This happens everytime Perry reads the charges. This is only the beginning girlfriend, you aint seen NUTHIN yet. jose asked if she could be absent for the rest of the jury selection. What happens when the real trial starts and she has to listen to stuff WAY worse than this? Raises the anticipation level.......

Now for my question, if the trial starts here at 8;30am , do you have to get up at 5:30am to watch? I'm not sure how all that works. I know you are maybe 3 hrs behind our time. Just not sure because of the internet. I know when I see you here, it's 3hrs earlier for you. I get Regis and Kelly Live(from New York) comes on here at 9:00am, do you get it at 6:00am or do you get it at all? I have no west coast friends cept you. Anyhelp would be appreciated!

As far as this goes, hose a wanted a more diversified ethnic jury. That's why Perry went where he did. All casey needs is some homeless hispanic people(remember casey trashing an hispanic lady) to judge this middle class white loser who had it all and they have nothing. I'm sure everyone, including homeless have heard something about all this. I have a friend, an old black man, who lives on my road and he stops now and then to shoot the breeze. He stopped yesterday morning and not seeing him for awhile, we sat and talked about everything you could think of and TV was on, on the porch and they mentioned something about casy and I was amazed at how much he followed the case, he knew all the details and was even following the jury selection and you can guess where that went. He was here for quitew awhile and he agreed with every thing we do. He said she needs to fry!
